Alumni to host Leadership Douglas County meeting

Leadership Douglas County 1999 class alumni Lou Bashor and Bob Hines will be the facilitators for the August session.

On Wednesday, the class will hear presentations on economic development/media. In the morning Kathy Halbardier from the University of Nevada, Reno and Jim Cline from Community Business Resource Center will give a presentation on the latest and best information about small businesses in Douglas County, budgets, goals and projections.

The day will also include a walking tour through North Sails, PolyPhaser, Aervoe Pacific, KGVM and The Record-Courier.

The Leadership Douglas County program is sponsored jointly by the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Authority and the Tahoe Douglas Chamber of Commerce.
