Carson Jaycees do much for community

I wanted to tell the Carson City Junior Chamber of Commerce thank you for the wonderful things they do in our community.

My 4-years-old granddaughter got a beautiful Easter basket last Easter, and more eggs than we could eat at their Easter egg hunt. We went to the computer class they sponsored. We attended the chili cook off they had. My grandson did their Punt, Pass and Kick competition and last Friday, my five grandchildren and I went to the third annual Haunted House of Horrors over in the Frontier Plaza. It was great!

Mr. Jacoby, the chapter president, informed me that all the money raised would be going to several local organizations and groups. What a great project the Jaycees have put together for other organizations to raise funds for their own programs. We need more Jaycees in our community. Thank you for everything.
