Carson Rec department to hold annual Junior/Senior Snowboard program

The Carson City Recreation Division will hold its 44th annual Junior Ski/Snowboard Program.

Registration will be held 9 a.m.-noon Saturday in the Sierra Room of the Community Center. The program is available to all children ages 9 (or in the 4th grade) to 18. The program offers the following:

Ski or snowboard instruction (all ability levels); seven Sundays of fun on the slopes; transportation from the Pony Express Pavilion to Diamond Peak; special reduced rate ski days for the family.

The all-inclusive package is $185 per participant. Equipment is not included. The program begins Jan. 7, weather permitting.

Children ages 4-8 may register for the Kids Sunday Ski program on the same date as the junior program. For the kids program information, call 832-1130,
