We had occasion to be in the Nugget Coffee shop Saturday afternoon, Dec. 2. We had a bird's-eye view of the crosswalk between the Nugget and Cactus Jacks. This was over a time period of about 45 minutes.
While there, we saw three people nearly get hit by vehicles. One man had to run to keep from being hit. These weren't people who darted out into traffic. These were people who properly stepped off the curb and waited. (Traffic was quite heavy at this time.) We wondered where Carson City's finest were. They could have given a bundle of tickets.
