Drake House Antique Emporium to hold Victorian Christmas through Dec. 24

The Drake House Antique Emporium, 2242 Main St., Genoa, will hold its Spectacular Victorian Christmas Friday through Dec. 24.

This event takes place in one of Nevada's oldest haunted houses. This Gothic Victorian house is still authentic as far as construction and decor. Each room will be decorated in a different Victorian Christmas theme. There will be displays of Milagros, Christmas cards, and ornaments from Victorian times to the present. Docents will be in Victorian costume to add flair to the event.

Refreshments will be served in the authentic country kitchen.

Admission is free. The house will be open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily from Friday through Christmas Eve. Call 782-4951.
