There will be a free guided walk to tour the Charles W. Friend east-side historical trail beginning at noon Oct. 27 in front of the State Capital on Carson Street.
Participants should wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather and bring water and a snack, as the walk takes three hours and is three miles.
