Letter: Don't try to change definition of marriage

The most positive message we can give to our future generations is that the definition of marriage will not change because of moral differences among people. Changing the definition is watering it down, saying that marriage can be anything and everything and, consequently, saying it is nothing. Changing the definition of marriage to satisfy diverse groups of people is not the way to a healthy society.

I believe we need to send a strong message to this and future generations that there are institutions that won't change with time. Marriage is one of those institutions and is defined as one man and one woman in cultures around the world, ancient and present.

Vote yes on Question 2.
