To quote Mayor Masayko, "I have spent virtually hundreds of hours dealing with the freeway issue."
It's plain to see that Mayor Masayko has the time, the energy and the dedication to serve the people of Carson City.
As a full-time state employee, it is just as obvious that Mr. Tatro could not have such time, energy and dedication. State employees are supposed to work an eight-hour day, so it follows that Mr. Tatro's supervisors will allow him time off. Would Mr. Tatro receive two salaries? Would his state position be a valid employment and should his supervisor's leadership be queried? Should his state job be eliminated so that a win-win situation be achieved or are we all to consider, "It's good enough for government work?"
