Wake up you loyal Americans, especially you lethargic Christians and orthodox Jews. It's time to do your homework, then take action, as your ox is being gored! That is, if you don't want the anti-religious forces to win the day in destroying every vestige of Christian morality in our great country.
Our country's laws and customs are based irrefutably on the Ten Commandments and Bible principles.
As to "Separation of Church and State," any school child who can read can see that the words "separation," "church," or "wall of separation" are positively absent from the Constitution. When the First Amendment says "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" ... that's the end of the argument!
Read your history and you will find that this amendment was made exclusively for the purpose of preventing Congress; i.e., the federal government, from ordaining a state religion. The Church of England in colonial days was the only official government-mandated church and thus the "First" was to prevent this abuse of our freedom to worship.
The founders, almost to a man, were steeped in Bible from childhood ... Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Hamilton, Witherspoon, Madison and the rest. The black-robed jurists on the court in my view should be impeached for deliberate, almost fraudulent distortion of a simple English sentence.
Look around the world. Is there any other national constitution that guarantees freedom of the individual and recognizes rights as endowed by the Creator (of the Bible)?
Now, you ACLU, People for the American Way, Americans for the Separation of Church and State, how with your atheistic mind set, could you have ever accomplished what our God-fearing forbearers did here? Amazing to me, you churchmen who criticize Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, James Kennedy, et al, how you can criticize these men who fearlessly and uncompromisingly uphold the very scriptures you were ordained to follow. You're killin' 'em with friendly fire!
Charles Colson ("Against the Night") wrote: "Secularism advances, theologician Donald Bloesch argues, only as orthodoxy retreats ... as we yield the ground staked out for the church, the barbarians will advance to claim the terrain."
