Nevada Green Party to hold gathering on Tuesday to support Nader

Presidential candidate Ralph Nader has the support of 6 to 8 percent of American voters in the national polls and almost 9 percent in California. The CNN poll taken after its July interview with Nader revealed that 86 percent of the viewers would vote for a third party candidate in the next election. But Nader and his vice-presidential running mate, Winona LaDuke, continue to be excluded from the national debates.

The Nevada Green Party will be showing segments of interviews and speeches made by Nader and LaDuke from their 2000 campaign trail at the Washoe County Downtown Library, Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and will follow it with an informal discussion until 7:45 p.m. For information, call Sandi Rizzo at 853-2935.
