Charles Wes Jenkins, 85, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, died Sept. 12, 2000 at his home. He was born June 12, 1915, in Kansas to John Wesley and Margarite Price Jenkins.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Long Beach, Calif.
Mr. Jenkins was a city bus driver for 32 years in Long Beach. He enjoyed RV traveling and was the Wagon Master for Nevada Good Sams.
Among his survivors are his wife Ann of Carson City; son Charles of Denmark; daughter Marjorie Baggett of Lancaster, Calif., many grandchildren and numerous cousins in California.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Denver, Colo.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
