A graveside service for Denver P. Ingram, 79, a Dayton resident for the past 12 years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley with military honors.
Mr. Ingram died Oct. 27, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born May 23, 1921, in Charleston, W.Va. to Isaac and Ova Boggess Ingram.
He attended Morris Harvey College.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Hayward, Calif., for 30 years.
Mr. Ingram was a manager for men's clothing stores for 30 years, retiring in 1980. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife Shirley Jean of Dayton; son Craig Isaac and wife Jeanne of Hayward; sister Charlotte Petker of Carson City and grandchildren Nathan and Vanessa Ingram.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 712 Mill St., Reno 89502.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
