A memorial service for Lena Christine Beliveau, 65, a Silver Springs resident for the past 30 years, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hilltop Community Church, 3616 N. Sunridge Drive, Indian Hills.
Mrs. Beliveau died Nov. 9, 2000, at her home. She was born May 22, 1935, in Judsonia, Ark., to Milford and Jessie O. Immel Porter.
Before moving to Silver Springs, she lived in Sun Valley, Calif.
Mrs. Beliveau was a customer service representative for the manufacturing industry. She enjoyed painting ceramic statues, latch work and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed camping and hiking. She was a longtime member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband Lee and son Dan, both of Jacks Valley; daughters Brenda Correll of Portola, Calif. and Denise Lambert of Sparks; brothers Jerry Porter and Lee Porter, both of Culver City, Calif.; sisters Dorothy McKee of Bass Lake, Calif. and Betty Kelmick of Jacks Valley; granddaughter Ambyr Lambert and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
