Mary Ann Weldon, 80, a Carson City resident for the past five years, died Sept. 11, 2000 at Carson Healthcare. She was born June 29, 1920, in Los Angeles, to Edward Joseph and Cora Dell Maple Kamps.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Idaho.
Mrs. Weldon was a homemaker. She enjoyed art work and oil painting and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by husband Joseph Olan Weldon and son Joseph.
Among her survivors are her son John K. and daughter Suzanne Wiklanski, both of Carson City and brother Edward J. Kamps of Las Vegas.
Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
