A funeral for Maurice Gunderson, 82, a Minden resident for the past 28 years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Lammay officiating.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley.
Mrs. Gunderson died Dec. 4, 2000 at her home. She was born March 21, 1918, in Toole, Utah to Roy and Irene Shields Alsop.
She graduated from Toole High School in Toole, Utah in 1935.
She married Alton J. Gunderson Nov. 1, 1943, in Ensenada, Mexico.
Before moving to Minden, she lived at South Lake Tahoe.
Mrs. Gunderson was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Among her survivors are her husband Alton of Minden; sons, Tony M. of Provo, Utah, Dennis L. of Incline Village and Kevin T. of Minden; daughters Hollaye VanKeith of San Luis Obispo, Calif. and Cindy Worman of Minden; sister Elaine Smith of Ogden, Utah and nine grandchildren.
Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of arrangements.
