Obituary: Peter Ricketts

A memorial service for Peter Ricketts, 41, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 11 a.m. Saurday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Ricketts died Sept. 4, 2000 at his home. He was born July 27, 1959, in Dover, Del., to John and Lois Ricketts.

He married Lori Snow on Aug. 2, 1988 at the Ponderosa Ranch, Incline Village.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in LaCrescenta, Calif.

Mr. Ricketts worked in sales and marketing for CGI Inc. He was a member of Sierra Tahoe Golf, placing first in 1999. He was proud of his softball team and he bowled his first 300 game March 15, 1998.

Among his survivors are his mother of Delaware; wife, Lori, daughter Kelsey and brother and sister-in-law Todd and Joni Thomsen, all of Carson City; brother and sister-in-law Tom and Shari Williams of Florida and brother Carson and sisters Judy, Janet and Patti and families.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Scleraderma Foundation.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
