Rhoda Merrill, 81, died Oct. 1, 2000 at her Carson City home.
She was born June 7, 1919, in Pennsylvania to Benjamin and Esther Kaufman Trachtenberg.
A homemaker, Mrs. Merrill had lived in Carson City since 1980, coming from Susanville, Calif., and Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by husband Irwin Merrill.
Survivors include sons Gregg of Las Vegas and Howard of Santa Monica, Calif.; three brothers; one sister; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 4 at Palm Eastern Cemetery in Las Vegas, with Walton's Chapel of the Valley of Carson City in charge of arrangements.
