Robert T. Lynch, 61, a Gardnerville resident for the past six years, died Nov. 16, 2000 at his home. He was born Jan. 28, 1939, in Hollywood, Calif., to Thomas Bernard and Marcell Kittelson Lynch.
He married Hildegard Finger Nov. 7, 1970, in Las Vegas.
Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in California.
Mr. Lynch was a retired truck driver for United Parcel Service. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Among his survivors are his wife Hildegard of Gardnerville; sons Thomas Chaney of Eugene, Ore., John Chaney of Seattle, Wash. and Tim Chaney of Indiana; daughter Silvia Seefelder of Germany; brother Mike of Rosamond, Calif.; sisters Patricia Hammond of Palmdale, Calif. and Maureen Raudenbush of Las Vegas and seven grandchildren.
A private family service will be at a later date.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
