Virginia Harsh, 92, a Carson City resident since 1936, died Oct. 15, 2000, at Carson Healthcare Center. No local services will be held.
Mrs. Harsh was born Nov. 13, 1907, in Los Angeles to Charles Winfield Davis and Grace Eleanor Spooner.
She married Dwight Harsh in June of 1936 in Reno, who preceded her in death in 1966.
Mrs. Harsh was a graduate of Manuel Arts High School in Los Angeles in 1926.
Prior to living in Carson City, she resided in Southern California.
Mrs. Harsh was a professional artist, and most of her painting were of the Nevada desert. She organized the Nevada Artists Association in 1950.
She is survived by her nephew, Wayne Davis of Monrovia, Calif.
Inurnment will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
Cremation is under the direction of FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
