Student Rabbi to conduct first Sabbath at Temple Bat Yam

Student Rabbi Karen Deitsch, will conduct her first Sabbath services, 7:30 p.m., Sept. 15 and 16 at Temple Bat Yam, 3260 Pioneer Trail, South Lake Tahoe. Deitsch is the second female ever to serve as the congregation's spiritual and educational leader. The public is invited to attend both the services and the potluck dessert reception that follows.
