ANAHEIM, Calif. - A teen-ager injured while riding the Alice in Wonderland attraction at Disneyland suffered a fractured left foot and lower leg.
The Mesa, Ariz., 15-year-old was initially reported to have suffered a cut in the Thursday morning accident.
The youth, whose name was withheld, was treated for the fractures at Western Medical Center and released two hours later, hospital spokesman Ron Bingham said Friday.
The ride was shut down after the 11:37 a.m. accident and was reopened about six hours later, Disneyland spokeswoman Chela Castano-Lenahan said.
The investigation of the accident was continuing and the park was cooperating with the state Occupational Safety and Health Administration, she said.
