Nevada state archivist Guy Rocha participated in a documentary on the Hoover Dam to be shown at 9 tonight on KNPB Channel 5, the public broadcasting station in Reno.
The show, narrated by Peter Coyote, describes the brutal work done during the Great Depression in a canyon near Las Vegas to create "one of the greatest engineering works in history."
The show repeats at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
