Virginia City artist John Hunt will display works at the Nevada State Library & Archives May 3-July 27.
Two of the paintings to be featured are of "our neighbors in Firenze, Italy," artisans who are still working.
They are watercolors that were recently shown at the Leopoldo exhibition hall, once the oldest train station in Florence.
Two others include an oil painting of Red Watson, a longtime Virginia City resident, and an oil of Pierce Powell, owner of the old V & T Freight Depot in Virginia City.
