Stewart Indian School Museum will host a class continuing the rediscovery of lifeskills in traditional willow basket weaving. The class will be held in four sessions, Feb. 19-20 and March 4-5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
Class instructor is Veltha Dunnett from Schurz, a Paiute tribal member. She will teach how to split the willows and make threads for the basket.
Cost is $150 per person, class attendance is limited and students must be registered and pay a deposit by Thursday, Feb. 17.
