Brief: Museum basketweaving program

The public is invited to attend a free program on Weavers of Tradition and Beauty: Basketmakers of the Great Basin by Mary Lee Fulkerson from 7:30-8:30 Tuesday Jan. 25.

Fulkerson is the author of a book on Native American basketmakers of Nevada and will present a talk on her research and the artists she has worked with, many of whom are included in the Handed Down: Nevada's Living Folk Arts exhibit currently in the Nevada State Museum's Changing Gallery.
