Ruth Carlyle, well-known local artist, will exhibit recent paintings on silk as the featured artist at the King Street Gallery beginning Monday and running through April 15.
Carlyle has worked and studied in very diverse places, her last several years in Carson City. She has worked in several media and has been recognized with many awards during her years of exhibiting in the area.
Carlyle is a long-time member of the Nevada Artists Association and regularly shows her work at the King Street Gallery at 449 W. King St., open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
