Deputies were searching for a man wanted in connection with an apparent road-rage stabbing Wednesday evening.
Reports of a stabbing started pouring in at 3:10 p.m. According to reports, the stabbing occurred at East Long Street and Humboldt Lane.
The victim was taken to Carson-Tahoe Hospital where he was being treated and interviewed by Carson City Detective Steve Johnson.
Dispatch reports indicated that the weapon was a 4- to 5-inch knife and the alleged assailant was a Hispanic man in a light blue Dodge Shadow driven by a woman. The vehicle is registered to a Gardnerville couple.
