Carson Valley Art Association holds annual art show beginning Saturday

The Carson Valley Art Association will present the annual Carson Valley Days Fine Art Exhibit at the CVIC Hall, Esmeralda and fourth Streets, Minden.

Show times will be Friday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday June 11, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The community is invited to an artists' reception on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase original art at reasonable prices," said Pat Wheeler, CVAA spokesperson.

Artists from Nevada and adjoining California counties are welcome to exhibit their paintings. If interests in exhibiting, call Chairmen Margaret Biggs, 265-3867, or Beth Bosmans, 782-5606.

Entries will be accepted at the CVIC Hall on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

No submissions will be accepted after 4 p.m.
