The Carson City Convention and Visitors Bureau is accepting applications through April 3 for grant requests.
The visitor's bureau awards grants to nonprofit agencies for activities and events that promote tourism and enhance the image and economy of Carson City.
For fiscal year 2000/2001 the board of directors decided that extra consideration will be given to those organizations whose events emphasis the millennium. All grants are subject to funding and are at the discretion of the board of directors.
