The Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 7 recently installed new officers.
They are commander John Olson; senior vice commander David Wyble; junior vice commander Donald Good; adjutant Ed Johnson; chaplain Robert Crowder; judge advocate Tom Jones.
The Auxiliary's new officers are Mary Ann Johnson, commander; Nancy Rowan, senior vice commander; Pat Wyble, junior vice commander and Betty Stephenson, chaplain.
DAV Chapter 7 pays for the answering service used by veterans when they call for a ride on the van to the Reno VAMC. Donations are the only means that keeps this service available. The Sertoma Club of Gardnerville donated enough money for one year, in addition to $100 given by the Topaz Lake VFW Post.
