Sierra Place Retirement and Assisted Living Community is beginning a community seminar series. Dr. Matti Vazeen of the Sierra Nevada Laser Center will speak on Cataracts - The Curable Evil at 1:30 p.m. Monday May 8.
On Monday May 22 at 1 p.m. psychotherapist Andy Drymalski will discuss Treating and Preventing Depression in Seniors. Then on Thursday June 29 at 6:30 p.m. Donna Shilinsky, RN from Community Care Associates, will present a seminar on Aging in the U.S., with excerpts from the American Society on Aging Annual Conference last March.
Thursday July 27 at 1:30 p.m. Debbie Prince-Lewis of Senior Bridges will speak on Pet Therapy (she will be bringing her dogs).
