Education Day for Douglas County

Wednesday is Education Day for the Leadership Douglas County Class of 2000.

Education Day facilitators Maggie Allen and Linda Deacy, 1999 LDC candidates, have arranged an agenda for the day.

This fourth session will start off with a tour and presentation from Deacy on the local library.

Then the candidates will hear presentations by top personnel in the field of education for Douglas County.

The 25 candidates will be visiting Jacks Valley Elementary and Douglas High School where they will enjoy a round table discussion from district office personnel and have lunch at the high school.

The sponsor for this session will be Bently Nevada. After lunch the candidates will visit WNCC-Douglas Campus and Pau Wa Lu Middle School.
