Jodie Ernst of the Rural Nevada Development Corp. has been certified as an Economic Development Financial Professional by the National Development Council.
Ernst is project director of the Community Business Resource Center, 116 East Seventh St., Carson City, which collaborates with four lending programs funded by government and non-government agencies.
To earn the certification, she attended four five-day economic development courses in credit analysis, real estate financing, loan packaging, deal structuring and negotiating and the creation and implementation of development programs.
