Free admission to Children's Museum

The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada will offer free admission to the museum Dec. 26-30. The week of free admission is sponsored by the Carson Nugget and Carson City Countdown to the Millennium Committee. The museum will also be giving away two dinner buffet tickets to a lucky visitor, which were donated by the Carson Nugget. The museum will be closed Dec. 31-Jan. 1 for New Years.

The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada, Inc., is located at 813 N. Carson St., It is open seven days a week: Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Adults are $3, children ages 3 through 13 are $2 and children 2 and under are free. "Senior Day" is the first Saturday of every month, Grandparents are free when accompanied by a grandchild. For more information, call 884-2226.
