Several items relating to the Tahoe/Reno Industrial Center are on Tuesday's agenda for the Storey County commissioners' meeting, along with items ranging from appointments to county boards to discussions of wild horse fences and the possibility of a five-member commission.

The Tahoe/Reno Industrial park, which spans the Storey/Lyon county line, comes up in proposals to create a general improvement district for the project, to review that district's proposed service plan, to consider an ordinance incorporating a development agreement for the industrial park, to discuss the fees and scope for a review of the possible financial and developmental impact of the project on the county and to create four new parcels from a portion of the park.

No action is set to accompany a discussion item about increasing the number of county commissioners to five.

But the commission could take action on proposals to install flashing warning signs at Five Mile Flat to warned of wild horses that cross the road and to install fences at Rainbow Bend to protect the horses by restricting their contact with populated areas.

The commission meets at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the district courtroom of the Storey County Courthouse in Virginia City.
