The Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane, will host the 2nd annual Interfaith Thanksgiving evening service at 7 p.m. Nov. 24.
The community is welcome to join members of Alpine Christian Community, Carson Valley United Methodist, Christ Presbyterian, Coventry Cross Episcopal, St. Gall Catholic and Unity churches in a service celebrating our many blessings and giving thanks for them. Clergy from each church will participate in the service and the choirs from each church will combine to present two musical selections.
The concert is free and open to the public. Donations of food items for the Community Food Closet will be collected in lieu of an offering. Should monetary donations be received, they will be sent to Heifer Project International.
Refreshments will be served in the church Fellowship Hall after the service. For information, call 782-4600.
