Letter: Quilici appointment

I could not believe Governor Guinn's recent appointment of Brad Quilici to the Wildlife Commission. How can Quilici be trusted to pass judgment on anyone considering his arrogant disregard of regulations? What kind of an example are we setting for future appointments?

Quilici was cited seven times by a game warden in 1982 and found guilty of five misdemeanor violations, all of which pertained to wildlife laws. His violations were serious enough that he was denied a license as a "master hunting guide." It's hard enough to make my 16-year-old son understand the importance of following the rules when he sees that those who don't are rewarded. Quilici should not be rewarded.
