Welcome to Carson City, Dr. Matti Vazeen. We are so happy to have you, and you are so needed.

In my search for an ophthalmologist who does the new advanced cataract eye surgery, I only found two who do so. There is one in Reno and Dr. Vazeen here in Carson City.

The new advanced surgery is no stitches, no shots that leave you numb for 12 hours or any kind of shots; also no patches or eye shields and no pain.

Dr. Vazeem does the new advanced surgery. I had my cataract surgery on the 12th of October. It took less than 10 minutes, and I was wide awake. There was no pain at all then or afterwards. He checked me on the 13th and my vision was 20/20.

Dr. Vazeen and his assistant Peggy Foley are an unbeatable team. In fact, the entire staff at Ormsby Medical Center, Dr. Jack Pershing's office, are not only highly professional but are also friendly caring people as is Dr. Vazeen.

It is refreshing to find a super competent doctor and staff and cheerfulness all under one roof.

Thank you, Dr. Vazeen and staff. You surely are my heroes.
