A Carson City man was arrested Monday on suspicion that he struck his wife causing substantial harm.
Dale Dennis Schultz, 36, was arrested on felony battery charges after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute at 6 p.m. in the 500 block of West College Parkway.
Reports indicate Schultz's wife was holding her ribs, had a visible bump on the side of her face and "appeared to be in lot of pain," a report read.
Schultz's bail was set at $15,000.
