DAYTON - A memorial service for Delores G. Cox, a 21-year resident of Northern Nevada, is scheduled Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton.
Mrs. Cox, 68, died Oct. 12 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Reno.
She was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Evanston, Wyo., to Robert Laird Graham and Minnie Myrtle (Johnson) Graham.
Mrs. Cox was a reflexologist for many years, as well as a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and crafts. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Before coming to Northern nevada, she lived in Oregon.
Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents, by sister Roberta Rowland, by brother Clyde Graham in 1994 and by daughter Judith Reed in 1952.
Survivors include daughters Jeannie Baker of Stagecoach; Shonna Plowman of Virginia Beach, Va.; Kathy French of Corvallis, Ore., and Pepperdee Richey of Adin, Calif.; sons Lee Reed of Carlin, Jim Reed of Antioch, Calif.; Ed Reed of Hayfork, Calif., and Brad Reed of Cartersville, Ga.; seven brothers; one sister; 21 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
A private interment service will be held at the Chapel on the Hill at the Dayton Cemetery at a later time.
