A Mass of Christian burial for Adele Theresa Brust, 80, a Carson City resident, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elko.
Mrs. Brust died Feb. 6, 2000, at Carson Health Care. She was born April 24, 1919, in Gardnerville, to Nazareth and Veronica Hachquet.
She graduated from Carson High School in 1937 and moved to Elko where she met and married Pete Brust Aug. 6, 1938. She lived in Elko until 1991 when she moved to Carson City.
Mrs. Brust was a homemaker, devoted mother and grandmother. She was active in Elko community service, an avid golfer and a member of the Ruby View Women's Golf Association for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters, Pauline Bath and Isabel Gold.
Among her survivors are her daughter, Barbara, and son, Mitchell, both of Carson City; grandsons, Clayton of Reno and Ryan of Portland, Ore.; brother, Ernest Hachquet and sister, Marge Wunderlich, of Elko, brother, Albert Hachquet, of Vallejo, Calif. and sister, Helen Turcott, of Fairfax, Va.
Burial will be in Burns Memorial Garden with Father Norm King officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
Burns Funeral Home, Elko, is in charge of arrangements.
