Albert H. Sutton, 84, a Gardnerville resident for the past four years and former Lake Tahoe resident for 26 years, died Oct. 26, 1999, at his residence. He was born June 9, 1914, in Chicago, Ill., to Charles D. and Elsie Grim Sutton.
He married Myrna R. Soper June 22, 1970.
Mr. Sutton was a piano technician and a musician. He loved being a pianist and started performing at the age of 15. He played many years with the big bands at Lake Tahoe.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife, Myrna, of Gardnerville; sons, Marty, of Orem, Utah, Bob, of Nephi, Utah, Mark Hanson, of Santa Paula, Calif., and Michael Hanson, of Long Beach, Calif.; daughter, Eryn Foster, of Spanish Fork, Utah; and 11 grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, Minden, is in charge of arrangements.
