A memorial service for Alma Garcia will be held November 11 at 1 p.m. the Carson City Senior Center.
Garcia, a 15-year resident of Carson City moved here from Los Angeles, Calif. She died October 24 at Tahoe Pacific Hospital. She was 84.
Born in New York, Garcia worked in retail sales at Gemco in Los Angeles.
Garcia is survived by son David Beugen of Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Her cremation will be at Sierra Crematory.
John Sparks Memorial Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
