Betty Jean Martin, 78, a Carson City resident for the past five years, died June 14, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Dec. 2, 1921, in Huntington, W.Va., to Elbert and Valeria Pearl Cline Berry.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in St. George, Utah.
Mrs. Martin was a retired director of personnel for hospitals and television.
Among her survivors are her sons and wives David R. and Lauri Dunn of Carson City and Eddie and Hedwig Dunn of Page, Ariz.; brother Lowell Berry of Nagadosha, Texas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No service is planned.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
