A private family service for Bonnie L. Brooks, 66, a Carson City resident for the past six months, will be at a later date in Mammoth, Calif.
Mrs. Brooks died Jan. 17, 2000 at Carson Convalescent Center. She was born Dec. 12, 1933, in California to Ernest E. and Freida Bland Dever.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in McDermitt.
Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Among her survivors are her brother Earl Dever, of McDermitt, and sisters Goldie "Dodie" Rouse, of Sparks, and Bev Coons, of Fallon.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
