Obituary: Elaine Christy Forbes

Elaine Christy Forbes, 39, a Gardnerville resident for the past three years, died April 25, 2000, in Gardnerville.

She was born July 10, 1960, in Hermosa Beach Calif., to Delane Edward and Eleanor Mohn Lytle.

Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Cedar City, Utah.

Ms. Forbes work for Nevada Rural Water Association. She loved to read, hike, travel and be with her family.

Among her survivors are her father of Granada Hills, Calif.; mother of Lake Arrowhead, Calif.; brother, Brian of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; sisters, Lori Pachowicz of Camarillo, Calif., Donna Lytle of Brentwood, Calif. and Brenda Lytle of Canyon Lake, Calif. and three nieces and two nephews.

There will be a private family memorial in California at a later date.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary, Minden, is in charge of arrangements.
