Obituary: Elsie Wilber

Elsie C. Wilber, 97, a Carson City resident for the past year, died Jan. 19, 2000, at Carson Health Care. She was born July 6, 1902, in Clutier, Iowa, to Fred and Anna Boll Rambow.

Before moving to Carson City, she had lived in Sparks for 65 years.

Mrs. Wilber was a homemaker. She and her husband, Basil, were members of the Masons-Rebecca Stars. She was an avid square dancer and a reader.

She was preceded in death by her husband Basil, and daughters Dori Seidler and Phylis Walker.

Among her survivors are her daughter Claire Snow, of San Andreas, Calif.; son Verle Wilber of Carson City; 19 grandchildren and many great- and great-great-grandchldren.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
