Obituary: Everett Eston Gillett

A funeral for Everett Eston Gillett, 73, a Carson City resident, was held June 10 at Capitol Baptist Church.

Mr. Gillett died June 5, 2000 at Sierra Convalescent Center. He was born March 2, 1927 in Crawford, Neb. to Rowland Hill and Harriet Dickerson Gillett.

Among his survivors are his wife Gladys of Carson City; mother Harriet of Chadron, Neb.' sons Craig of Sacramento and Wade of Carson City; daughter LaDawn Malone of Carson City; brothers Quentin of Omaha, Neb., Robert of Lincoln, Neb., LaVern of Lincoln, Terence of Harrison, Neb., Donald of Fremont, Neb. and Clarence of Irian Jaya, Indonesia; sisters Phyllis Osborn of Chadron, Neb., Vivian Foley of Gering, Neb., Willa Scott of Portland, Ore., Eleanor Davis of Belgrade, Mont., Arline Lyons of Albion, Wash. and Elizabeth Spencer of Hastings, Neb., eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial was at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City was in charge of arrangements.
