Frances Ann Ramirez, 80, a Carson City resident for the past 11 years, died Nov. 7, 1999, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born March 25, 1919, in Atlanta, Ga., to Lemuel and Arabella Bogaski Hendricks.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Los Angeles for 40 years.
Mrs. Ramirez was a receptionist in a medical office. She was a translator for the Hispanic community in Los Angeles. She enjoyed spending time at the senior citizens center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 1981.
Among her survivors are her daughters, Kathy Shaw, Celia Santowski, Odessa Ramirez and Irene Ramirez, all of Carson City and Susan Luz Ramirez, of San Mateo, Calif.; sister, Agnes Davis of Austell, Ga.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No service is scheduled.
Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
