James Walter Adcock Jr., 36, a Stagecoach and Northern Nevada resident for the past 20 years, died May 30, 2000 at his home. He was born Jan. 8, 1964, in Knoxville, Tenn., to James Sr. and Bettye Brace Adcock.
Before moving to this area, he lived in Southern California.
Mr. Adcock was a laborer in the construction industry. He enjoyed gardening and writing poetry.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1989.
Among his survivors are his companion Joanne Mohler of Stagecoach; mother Bettye Brace of Stagecoach; sons Anthony of Utah, JJ, J.T. and Jimmy, all of Nevada; daughter, Jaime Adcock of Utah and sisters Janice Hill and Gail Adcock, both of Nevada.
A celebration of life will be held at the family home at a later date.
Cremation will be at Fitzhenry's.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
